Michael Henaghan is a Brooklyn‑based Director of Photography who helps directors and producers turn ideas into images that connect with an audience. His portfolio shows a consistent ability to deliver cinematic visuals across a wide range of budgets, always looking for ways to quietly raise the ambition and scale of each project.

He cut his teeth in documentary, learning to problem‑solve fast and develop a sharp instinct for pacing and performance. That background now feeds into his narrative, commercial, and music video work, where he builds a visual approach around each project’s tone, story, and constraints so that every frame serves the film.

His collaborations with Joyner Lucas and Jelly Roll earned an MTV Video Music Award nomination and have generated over 30M views on YouTube. Recent credits include features, documentaries, and spots with talent such as Steven Gerrard, Corey Feldman, and Jorge Masvidal, along with campaigns for Nike, Adidas, Jack Black Skincare, Tag Heuer, Heineken, Guinness, and Verizon, with work appearing on outlets including CNN, ESPN, and The Guardian.
