Michael Henaghan is a Director of Photography who transforms directors’ and producers' ideas into images that make the audience feel the story.  His portfolio demonstrates the ability to deliver stunning visuals across varying budgets while challenging himself to push past his comfort zone and think big, elevating every project he undertakes.

Starting out in the world of documentary filmmaking, Michael developed his problem-solving skills and a strong sense of pacing, which now influence his work in narrative films, commercials, and music videos. He tailors his process to align with the vision of each project, ensuring that every frame serves the story and that his work brings the director’s vision to life.

His work with Joyner Lucas and Jelly Roll earned a nomination for an MTV Video Music Award while generating 30M views on YouTube. His other credits include feature length films, documentaries, and commercials starring names like Steven Gerrard, Corey Feldman, and Jorge Masvidal. He’s shot for notable brands such as Nike, Adidas, Jack Black Skincare, Tag Heuer, and Verizon, while his work has aired on CNN, ESPN, and The Guardian.
